Cyclonic Storm Thane heading towards Chennai

Cyclone Thane is expected to hit chennai on Friday morning. The regional meteorological department said the "severe cyclonic storm" was 700km east-southeast of Chennai on Tuesday evening and might cross the coast near Chennai if it retains its direction and strength.

Heavy rain is expected in Northern TamilNadu and South Costal Districts of Andhra Pradesh .These places can expect heavy rains on Thursday and Friday.

Regional meteorological department deputy director Y E A Raj said the storm was likely to enter the Chennai region between Cuddalore and Nellore.

My Take : I really dont expect much damage bcox of all the precautions taken by both the governments. And Hopefully and praying God for a Good New year Celebration in Chennai .

Short inspiring story1

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father going and coming in the hall waiting for the doctor. Once seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have the sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled and said:
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came the fastest I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily

The doctor smiled again and replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came and to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go and intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”

“Giving advice when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
“Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any question, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Moral:- NEVER JUDGE ANYONE BECAUSE You never know how their life is & what they’re going through, think abOUT this moment.

Blogging

I stopped blogging thinking that i was mere waste of time for me .. (think the same even now) . But if i think in the other way , feel like people blog such that others will get some good information . Blogs are just information being shared . Is the information i shared before was worth enough . i feel yes when i see some students asking info about bharatanatyam classes and the teacher using this blog to know them the information . It brings a smile on my face when i come to know that some is really benefited by this blog .

Good that i have some free time now .. Will see if i can post atleast one post from today . Useful or not , feel like posting for a few days . Am sure i will stop some day again , untill then there will be some updates in this blog .

As the year is coming to an india , i will post some top tens in different fields starting with movies from different languages and will try to cover some top tens of 2011 before this year .
